Job Summary:
This requirement is for a prestigious pan India healthcare initiative being funded by a very reputed global foundation working together with the Government of India. The responsibilities include

• Maintaining and deploying application/reporting production servers, database servers and Nagios servers.
• Monitoring servers, logs and database backups.
• Debugging, troubleshooting and real time fix for Production issues.

The engineer should be willing to work in the following shifts:

• 6 AM – 3 PM
• 1 PM – 10 PM

Desired profile:

• Must have experience in installing, configuring and monitoring Nagios.
• Must have experience in configuring and debugging Apache and Apache Tomcat.
• Must have experience in configuring and managing firewalls.
• Good to have experience in supporting Production Servers.
• Should have good command over basic desktop as well server networking (like DNS Configuration, DHCP awareness, Load Balancing etc.)
• Must have experience in Deploying Web Projects with Hudson and Apache Tomcat.
• Must have experience in configuring SSL Certificates for Production Servers.
• Good to have experience in basic Linux scripting and commands.
• Mandatory experience in installation and restoring differential backups of My Sql and PostGres Sql.

Required profile:

• B Tech or an equivalent degree from IITs, BITS, IISc or ISI
• At least 3 years of total experience building enterprise-grade software using Java and related technologies*
• Solid knowledge of OOP software concepts, design patterns, and best practices
• Strong understanding of and implementation experience using Core Java, Spring, Struts, Web-Services, SOAP, REST, Relational databases, SQL, JPA, Hibernate/iBatis, jQuery/javascript/AJAX/GWT
• Excellent knowledge of JEE architecture/design patterns, Object Oriented Design.
• Experience working on UI frameworks like Bootstrap and AngularJS is a plus
• Passionate about learning new technologies, take pride in code quality and a self-starter
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards.
• Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices using Agile and Automation.
